Harmonie Rock Therapy was created in 2015, here is where we do all beauty, massage and training from treatments ranging on all beauty treatments, being massage, manicure, pedicure, facials, waxing, eyelash heating. Courses, actually, are also held here in the studio or onboard of the superyatchs. Courses being a couple of massage training courses along with manicure, pedicure courses also.
Clients' favourite service is the heated and chill rock massage, my signature massage, where we use heated and chilled marble rocks actually in the treatment. The heat and the way of the rocks actually help to calm and relax muscles and the chilled ones actually act like ice, so they take away any inflamation. It is quite powerful, it sends a message to the brain to send you fresh oxygenated blood to that area, so it is helping to heal the muscles and they are more intense than a regular massage.
So exciting to be able to say we can actually perform the duo massage here being a big studio. Also, we will offer the four-hand massage with my colleague Marianne, which you may all know, often comes in here and helps now with the massages when I am not here or overloaded with treatments or to help me in the training course also.
I am Australian, born in Melbourne. I decided to move here in 1996, working on the boats originally, then falling back into my profession working in the spas actually. I had a beautiful opportunity to work in the Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc, I managed the spa which was an experience, then followed by other spas closeby : five star, went to the Royal as well and then from there basically figuring out it was time to move on and open up my own studio and then integrate the training in which I have training for myself. My diplomas, my chartered diplomas were, I had actually taken then in Melbourn Australia and then from there I travelled as well, so I have gone to Thailand, Thai yoga massage, that was in the 80s and then I also completed my beauty therapy training certiicates here in France.
Harmonie Rock Therapy was created when I was working in a spa actually and then an opportunity came up for the training compartment as I am affiliated with Bluewater crew agency. The opportunity came through and voilà, opened up the toast to creat a studio, to treat my clients along with start the training.
The most thing I enjoy about my activity is to be able to give to my clients a, and to make them feel great basically. For me it is extremelly rewarding, so for my clients to walk out the door feeling like they are floating on air, no worries in the world is whoao, a beautiful exchange.
